Carlyle has been with Cuningham Taylor since 2001 and has been a Partner since 2008.

Carlyle works in the area of family and employment law. She is dedicated to assisting clients when they are going through stressful and difficult times, and is passionate about ensuring children’s welfare is the paramount consideration.

In 2002 she was appointed Lawyer for Child and has also been appointed Lawyer to Assist the Court, predominantly working in the Christchurch and Ashburton Family Courts.

Carlyle’s work mainly relates to care arrangements for children, guardianship disputes (including relocation) and the division of relationship property.

Cuningham Taylor continues to provide clients with the option to apply for legal aid within the family law area, and Carlyle provides supervision to other solicitors and is also a lead provider for this work. She carries out voluntary work for organisations within the Canterbury region, and enjoys running, travelling, and keeping in close contact with family and friends.

Carlyle has an LLB and BA (Sociology) from Victoria University.
